  • At least the Aussies will never take themselves too seriously!

Just been handed the latest in a string of articles about LarryCherubino’s Wines. No hint of ‘spice’ or ‘succulent tannins’ mentioned in these awards!  This time an off the wall ode to all things Aussie. Bottom right under the wine that took the title ‘For Services to wine porn’ you’ll see our own AdHoc winning ‘Services to truth in wine labelling’ for their ‘Shiraz from the middle of everywhere’. • Anthony’s World Trip Chile Part 1

22.02.10 Anthony (referred to as AT from here on in) flew into Santiago where he was picked up by Cristian Rodriguez from Emiliana and whisked off to the vineyards at Casablanca which have just been given full bio dynamic status. I also plan to oversee the blending of more Puna Snipe in Chile, the possibility of launching our own blended brands in both East and West Australia, and meeting some of the worlds most innovative winemakers and producers there, and finally overseeing the new Swallows Tale blends and Reservas in South Africa, and probably improving the wines and adding

  • ‘Hooded Plover’ Building the nest

When my parents had my youngest brother Henry, Willy and I thought that that was it… no more siblings, we could each have a third of the parents love. For a while now, we have realised that we were wrong…. Two years ago Swallows’ Tale from South Africa came onto the scene, then Puna Snipe from Chile and now Hooded Plover from Oz!! These three babies lovingly put together by the father (Anthony), with labels drawn and designed by the mother (Penny) are now pride of place! We flock around them, enthusing about them, drinking them and selling them to
